What a waste of time!

I lost a lot of precious time all last week from being so frigging sick with that nasty flu.

I had three days off and I got absolutely nothing completed or accomplished.

There were a shit load of things that I wanted to post about and things to do, but since I was feeling so rotten, I didn’t get anything done at all.

I lost a shit load of money from both work and my  freelance work. So trying to compensate spending and try and regain that lost revenue may prove a little tricky.

Since it’s (Canadian) Thanks Giving weekend, I have been scheduled extra hours ….again. and I’m not happy about that. Mainly it’s the hours they have me scheduled that doesn’t work well with my freelance work and personal time that I don’t like. I like working there, but that is slowly becoming un-important to me at the moment. I’m feeling restrained by the job now, making it nearly impossible to enjoy life in general. I work, sleep, get up and go back to work again. It’s burning me out and making me fall way behind on my projects. Just give me frigging 8 hour shift, not 10, or 12 hour shifts jeepers.

Still searching for a fall back job. Something that I can actually use my creativity with. Not just dropping shit in deep fryers and putting plates of food together. Since it looks like I won’t be getting that position I said I wanted in the first place because they are training another person for it, it doesn’t look like things will be changing any time soon. That really pissed me off when I saw this the other week too. Which is all too bad because I actually enjoy working with the old crew too.

I’m still working on that portfolio together, I just need to design a few more things and do up some more Photoshop stuff, but again, there’s the thing with the time limiting me from getting this accomplished because my ass is usually sleeping for a couple of hours or it’s at my fucking job. Sort of a rock and a hard place you see?

There’s just not enough time in the day! Well there is, it’s just that it’s being wasted at work. Yes wasted, I feel like my skills are being wasted in my current position. I can’t use any of my creativity skills on anything. How the fuck can you be creative cutting a fucking sandwich?

Grrr. I’m just getting frustrated and I need to vent a little because I’m biting my lip trying not to vent at work.

There, I feel a little better now…. well….. sort of.

OH! and to top things off, my printer ink is all out! I don’t know how, because I hardly used the damn thing. Maybe it dried out or something! Grrr!

Well, guess what?

It’s time to get ready for work again. Ya’ see!! Ya’ see what I mean? What kind of life is this? This is not for me. I could be doing something better.

I got to go now and probably wont be able to post anything till Saturday afternoon. According to my schedule, after that I won’t be online till Monday morning since Sunday’s schedule has me getting my ass at work 2 hours after waking up.
