Watch the door on your way out!

DancingIt's official as of 3:30pm today.

I was unemployed! And still am at the moment.

Since September 28th, 2004 up until today I had put up with a lot, but within the past 3 weeks, I've thrown in the towel and have made the decision to ponder my options.

Dear John.

We have come to the conclusion that the relationship between NuComm International and you is no longer an appropriate fit due to absenteeism.

As a result, it is out decision to terminate your employment with NuComm International effective immediately, without cause. Bla… bla… bla…. blaaa

I'm not certain, but isn't that first paragraph a bit on the bad grammar side? And the spelling errors are real.  LOL

Back to Square 1So I guess I'm back to square one starting a new job from the bottom of the totem pole. Oh, wait a minute, I've spent two freggin' years at the bottom with no hope of ever advancing!

So I've been stuck on square one all along!

When I had the first meeting with the call center manager, she asked me what I had planned for a future with NuComm. I said there is no future because I never qualify for anything because NuComm doesn't enforce their own company policies.

Your FiredI guess that's the statement that helped with their decision.  What can I say, I'm honest! So they called me back in off the floor to give me the pink slip.

I don't know why they call it the pink slip, because it's a white piece of paper saying audios-amigos!

I'm not saying the entire company is the devil, because I hear other sites in the country have awesome campaigns, so I say to them other sites. "Be thankful for the one you have, because you could be stuck with Qwest!" The evil of all campaigns.

I remember the first days working with NuComm, on the Comcast Broadband Tech Support line. IT WAS AWESOME. I Looked forward to going in to work everyday, because I was ACTUALLY helping people, and not trying to sell them crap. Yes I was one of a few that knew what they were doing! But then I was tricked into volunteering for a campaign that was supposedly customer service, and was assured nothing to do with sales. But it ended up 99.98% sales oriented. I'm not a sales person. I wouldn't have volunteered if I had known. But they hid that Big Whopper of a detail out.

But anyway, if anything good comes out of all this, it will definitely be a better job for sure, it can only get better after enduring the dreadful one I just spent two years of my life rotting away with.

HeroThis can only get better.  Maybe I'll get a better job with a bit more excitement, and chicks. Hey it could happen. Anything can happen as long as you put your mind to it. Just like I am right now.

I've already completed a few fazes of a job application process. I'm told that I'm a shoe in if I've made it this far in the process.  I have the confidence that I do to.

This sequence of events can only open up new doors. So while this one is slamming my ass on the way out, many more are opening.

Am I worried about finances?  Hell yea! I'd be a fool not to. So as soon as I get my ROE, I'll be applying for my EI Benefits.

Hopefully I won't need the EI because hopefully I'll already have a new and better job before that. But just in case I don't. I'm always open for donations. :P

That really rots, man! I hope that you have luck with your current attempt (by the way, the soap in the bathrooms smells like dead flowers, but the rest of the place is okay). I think that I avoided getting that PFO barely.

Nah the street names down there are easy dude. Besides, who wouldn’t want 150 bucks IN YOUR POCKET for working 10 hours?
EI and drive cab two nights a week, you’d make probably almost twice what you did working for spewcomm

Oh, geez louise. Sorry OBL…or should that be CONGRATULATIONS! ??

Actually, the one time I was fired in my life, it was like such a relief, like a 1,000 pound weight had been lift from my shoulders. Getting fired was the best thing to happen to me. Hope it turns out that way for you too!

Oh, but wait, why do you need chicks? Don’t I qualify?=((

Skye, I feel so much better now that I don’t have to go into that hell hole.
