I thought it would a good time to post a follow up post on my new Web Hosting provider THC.

First off I want to salute them for their superb customer service, the only hosting service I have ever dealt with that has ever took the time to e-mail me about server maintenance, commented on my blog, was there 24/7 for my live chat questions, and had the patience to put up with my impatience.

Secondly. The SPEED! I have never had the pleasure of seeing my site load so fast. In the past it took while to load up. I have a lot of things on it and it is not a problem with THC’s servers as they seem to shoot out my site like it was lightning compared to the past host with Hostmonster.

And I shouldn’t forget about the fact that we’ll never have to put up with this nasty eye sore;

But everything I say about them in this post is true, and you can see the difference with this site ever since I switched, that is if you have been here before when I was with Hostmonster. The speed itself is very noticeable!

The control Panel is very basic and simple to use. I can see this being updated soon as there are better Control Panels out there that offer more features, but that’s really not a big issue for me because I don’t spend a lot of time in the Control Panel anyway.

They do care, they took care of me from the first steps in signing up. Although there was a bit of a hiccup in getting the sites transferred, in the end everything turned out great. There were there to help every step of the way. Plus they did have an issue when they upgraded their MySQL databases for a security update, but from what I was told that was the first time in two years that has ever happened. So to me that’s a pretty good track record IMO.

But seriously here folks.
