Where The Fu#* Is My Monitor?

I was really expecting my monitor back either yesterday or today, but I still haven’t got it back yet from the manufacture. They told me it would take about 3-4 days to repair and I sent it with 1-day shipping, so it’s been in their hands for 6 days now according to the delivery date on the UPS Tracking site.
Thankfully Other Mac lent me one of his monitors because the CRT one I used to replace my good one was a piece of shit and I couldn’t see a damn thing on it. At least the smaller one he lent me, you can see stuff.
I think the CRT monitor is what has been giving me the headaches. I seem to get them whenever I am sitting at the computer. So it may be the monitor itself, ya’ think?
Hopefully when I get my LCD monitor back, the headaches will go away. It’s just to damn hard to focus when your head hurts. I don’t want to do anything as far as posting or reviewing stuff, because my head starts hurting when I turn on this bright light bulb of a monitor.
I guess I’m so used to the LCD monitor. I just want it back. ASAP please!

its usually the refresh rate of the mionitor that strains your eyes, and/or gives headaches. Trun the refresh rate up and it’ll help alot
Totally agree. I’ve sat at one at 60Hz and got a headache within an hour. Try upping it to 75 or 85, if you can.
I think I got your monitor as my new one showed up today.
*quickly runs away*
@Uhh Yeah -
Unfortunately, there isn’t any settings on this monitor to change that. No menu button to set refresh rate. But you’re probably right about that causing the headache.
@MrCorey – I can’t.
@DragonLady –

Chases DragonLady all over the world.
LOL. I loved Benny Hill! That brings back some memories.
Sorry about your monitor. If you are nice to DragonLady maybe she can breed her new one with her old one and sell you the offspring before you get yours back.
Hmm- Reply and Quote links are no longer working after 2.6 update.
teeni – No, I’ll catch her. And when I do….. it’s just a matter of time.
Seems the Reply/Quote links only work for me in the Admin section of Wordpress.
There. I fixed it.
Now back on track again….

@MrCorey – You know what?
I knew that was there, but for some reason when I went to do it I wasn’t on the monitor tab, but thought I was. That’s what being tired does to you I guess.
My other monitor has that built in on it’s menu, so it’s been awhile.
Hopefully i get my monitor back soon.
You know, the only way to burn the candle at both ends is to hold it in the middle. Eventually, It’ll burn ya and leave you in the dark at the same time. Use your PVR more, my friend.
@MrCorey – Use my PVR more? Huh?
You know, record your late night TV show instead of watching them and get some sleep! You get up so early! I know you’re tired…
@MrCorey – OH IC! Because I didn’t see the tab.. You were trying to be funny. Sorry.. it flew over my head.
