So I’m checking my Digital Fingerprint to see if anybody has scraped my shit and if I have to yet, shut down another splog.

It just links back to the post when you click it. What’s the point of it. WHY ARE YOU LINKING TO ME WITH MY LINK!!??

So I went to the root URL and when I used the link http://c.moreover.com it redirected to http://w.moreover.com. WTF?! So I dug deeper and go to here http://w.moreover.com/site/content/weblogs.html. What’s this all about?

What’s Moreover - A Verisign Company? What’s Moreover Technologies, Inc. all about? Well them name plugs might just might get picked up by them because apparently they scour blogs for company names so companies can tell when somebody is talking about them. Say for example if I said, “Nucomm International Sucks Donkey Balls and are nothing but a bunch of double talking butt munchers. Nucomm can suck my balls!” Then they would pick that out.

So, Moreover - A Verisign Company or Moreover Technologies, Inc. Tell me why you linked to this post here: Does Google Skim The Pot? Is it because I said Google? If so, can you ask Google to answer the question that was asked in the post? There are a few other bloggers that would like to know also. Bloggers like Dom Ramsey, Brad, and Derrich would also like to know.

I don’t believe MyBlogLog violates the TOS because it a site stats service that helps site owners track their visitors and what happen on their site.

I’m not assuming Google is ripping me off, but it would be nice to know why there is such a high discrepancy with both results. It’s not that I’m looking a Gift Horse in the mouth or anything. What if it’s something Google isn’t aware of and it’s something they would like to know about and have fixed?

But anyway. Back on topic here.
