Window Shopping
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 21:46Every once in awhile when I’m all finished my usual blog surfing and social site creeping, I just start to surf web site and randomly snoop through store web site. Kind of like Window Shopping, but this kind of window shopping is online. Cyber Window Shopping you may call it I suppose.
I came across this site names Blue Dial that sells wrist watches, and I mean a lot of them too. You should check it out. I never even thought there were so many different models out there. We’re talking watches from Radio Watches to Kinetic Watches, You name em’ they’ve got em’.
Then I got to thinking that the one gift I gave my Dad a long time ago was a watch and I think to this day he still wears it. We’re talking over a decade ago. I can just imagine that old watch has seen better days and probably could be replaced.
The Casio AWG101-1A watch shown in the image above looks like something Dad would really enjoy having. You see he’s a time nut. He’ll have his watch set to the CBC Radio Time thing every day and say something like, “Hmmm. 3 seconds off…”
Ya think an Atomic Watch would be a perfect time keeper? The fact that he’ll never change a battery ever again with this one, because it’s solar powered. Approx’ battery life: 7 months on full charge, without further exposure to light! How kewel is that?
You can find additional casio g-shock types of wrist watches on the site, but beware, you’ll have a hard time deciding on what one to pick!
And one of my most favorite things about online stores is that they accept PayPal! And this one does too!
Dad’s Birthday is coming up here in just over 3 months, so if I start saving my nickels and dimes, I should have enough by then.
Probably spoiled the surprise too haven’t I?
This is just my opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
