Working Saturdays Suck Pt. 2 of 2

So I was on my way to work. Strutting my stuff as I walk in the nice weather. 
The sun is shining, there’s a light breeze, it’s not too hot, and I can smell the scent of every single pollinating plant, tree, and flower in the air.
I’m about half way to work and I start to get this itchy feeling in my throat, followed by a sneeze, and another sneeze, and another, and another, and another, and….well you get the point. Then my eyes decide to give me a heads up by getting all itchy and watery, just to let me know that I’m having an allergy attack. Thanks eyes, but I’ve already figured that out by the time I’ve already sneezed for the tenth time.
“FUCK!“, I yell as I turned around to head back home, taking the Saturday yard sale shoppers out of their trance of having the urge to buy that broken tie rack.
Cursing and swearing all the way back home, sneezing and tripping because I can barley see from the blurry eyes of itching hell and watery vision.
I’m not only pissed that I’m having an allergy attack, but I’m loosing a days pay too. I can’t afford to take the day off.
Seems like every step I take forward, I end up taking two steps back. I just can’t seem to get ahead. Please feel free to use the donate button on the left.
But anyway, why are my allergies so damn bad this season? I haven’t been this bad in years, over a decade even. These things I picked up last Monday, the Allergy relief pills aren’t doing a thing for me.
But it seems I’m not the only person finding this season to be really bad for allergies. Apparently people that haven’t had issues in the past are reporting itching, coughing and sneezing. I did a quick Google search to see if there were any news articles on this seasons allergy reports and found this. Some good tips in the article too if you’re among the sufferers like me.
It took me an hour to do this post up, and one roll of TP used up too for blowing my nose. I’ve splashed cold water on my eyes about a dozen times already, it doesn’t really do anything but make them feel better for a few seconds.
I’m going to go lay down and close my eyes, the only thing that seems to bring any comfort.
I feel like shit!

I concur… working Saturdays does indeed suck!! Sorry to hear about your allergies… That too sucks!

It’s been a while since I spent a Saturday at work, but yes, they do suck ass. So does working on Sunday.
My allergies have been worse this year too. Well, worse than previous years in the US as far as hay fever, but it beats the asthma attacks that I had in England for those 5 years.

What sucks more than working Saturdays, which I also just did too, is an OBL who makes you sit through the dumbest video ever
