We’ve got a new bugfix and security release for both of our actively maintained branches of WordPress. Version 2.1.1 includes about 30 bug fixes, mostly minor things around encoding, XML-RPC, the object cache, and HTML code. It’s available for immediate download on our download page.

I think that I’m going to skip the update and go straight to 2.2. I’ve been running a nightly build from a few nights ago on my test server and it seems to be faster.
Just making sure it works.

You know I still haven’t upgraded to 2.1 yet.
Just checked my RSS feeds to read my regular blogs and I noticed that my Trackback did actually end up going out.

DL, no need to “upgrade” unless you want new features (and change a few tags in your template). 2.0 will be maintained for quite some time.
