Yay! 2 Hours Of American Idiot Tonight!

This is what the first couple of weeks of these shows should be called. Canadian Idol and American Idol should be called, Canadian Idiot and American Idiot which is a far much better title for the audition process.
I usually don’t follow the rest of the show, unless there is some good talent. I’m usually watching the auditions, then I leave while they weed out the rejects that got through, and usually pick up again near the end. All the hoo-ha in between doesn’t interest me.
However, I do have another show that I wanna’ watch. That show that just started called Homeland Security is good to watch too. I’ll probably be flicking back and forth between the two shows.
Is it just me, or am I not the only person that finds the first part of these shows hilarious? I get a good laugh when some of these people come on thinking their all that, and sound terrible in their audition, and then fight with the judges as if the judges don’t know what they’re talking about. Are they real, or actors I wonder?
I really get a good laugh when a contestant gets a second chance only if they agree to go out of the building and do something the judges ask them to do and them come back for the second audition and sound even worse than the first time.
I just hope they don’t all of a sudden be all nice to the contestants because of the suicide of a previous contestant. If they are, I’ll probably skip watching the show. I like it a lot when the judges are real asses to the contestants. It makes for good entertainment. ![]()
PS: Yes, I made the graphic.

I spent part of that time with the folks from church that dropped in while the house was trashed. I’m still a little mortified.

I am an addict. I love the show and I hate the show. Half the time, I’m yelling at the screen. Not yelling at the contestants as much as the producers. It’s all so contrived and staged. They send those terrible singers through to exploit and mock them. It’s both entertaining and despicable.
